ABOUT

 

I'm Lia Goresh, a Finnish-Israeli actress currently based in London. My multicultural background sparked an interest in me towards cultures, people, and our behaviors from an early age. This curiosity led me into the world of acting at the age of 10 through musical theatre. Later in life, still empowered by the art, I secured myself a spot at Copenhagen International School of Performing Arts, where I dedicated myself to learning the intricacies of acting from 2018 to 2020. During those years, I immersed myself in various acting methodologies, including Rudolf Laban's mind-body techniques, Yat Malmgren's Movement Psychology system, and the timeless wisdom of Stanislavsky.

 

Eager to continue my growth as an actress, I pursued a Master's degree in acting at East 15 Acting School. In 2021, I proudly graduated from this program with distinction. Since my graduation I've been actively involved in various short films, constantly challenging myself and expanding my range as an actress. I take immense pride in my versatility, always striving to portray characters authentically and creatively.

 

My recent work includes Apple TV's Silo S2 (2024) and a four-episode guest role in a well-known Finnish TV show called "SYKE'' (2024). In addition to this I took on the stage as Christine in The East London Theatre Company's adaptation of Miss Julie, which received phenomenal feedback.

What sets me apart is not only my training and skills but also my positive energy and collaborative nature. I thrive on working closely with my co-actors, directors, and crew members, fostering an environment of teamwork and creativity on set. I believe that the best performances are born from genuine collaboration and a shared commitment to storytelling.
